Learn the basics of MIG Welding.

Course overview
The purpose of this course is to provide the learners with the skills knowledge and competence which will enable them to use Mig Welding equipment safely and correctly.

What will I study ?
Identify the safety hazards associated with M.I.G. welding and state the safety procedures to be followed when working with M.I.G.
welding equipment.

Describe the M.I.G. welding process, identify the M.I.G. welding equipment, its parts and their function.

Set up M.I.G. welding equipment, including cables, polarity, current and filler wire.

Weld runs on mild steel flat plates.
