Spanish for Improvers with Ronan Timmins.
Course Description:
This course builds on all the skills learned in the beginner’s course, however, don’t worry, we will do a quick revision in week one! Then, we will learn to talk about our area and more about holidays. We will then see how to talk about plans for the near future, our daily routine, and our house. We will finish the course by learning to write an email to a Spanish friend. This course is designed to take your knowledge further than a basic level. By the end of the ten weeks, most students should be comfortable with having a deeper conversation with a native Spanish speaker.
Tutor Ronan Timmins has a degree in Applied Language and Translation studies from Dublin City University. His working languages are Spanish, French, and Catalan. Ronan has been working as a Secondary school Spanish teacher on the north side of Dublin for two years. He is also undertaking a Professional Masters’s in Education to further his teaching practice. Ronan uses an interactive teaching style with the aim of engaging all students regardless of their ability. He is looking forward to teaching interested students in September.
