Duration
The General English syllabus for each level is designed over 13 weeks.
Intensive English course
All students choosing ATC’s Intensive English course of 26 hours per week have the option of additional lessons in the afternoons, and free teacher tutorials. All levels of English from Elementary to Advanced are offered throughout the year and students can choose to study for a minimum of 1 week.

Individual Tuition
At ATC Language Schools we understand that you sometimes want to focus on a specific topic and we are happy to arrange a tailor made programme for you with private tuition, face to face in Bray or in Dublin, or online.
One to one tuition is ideal if a student is limited on time or would like to focus on a particular area of English language.
Students can choose 1 or 2 hours per day or per week as their sole learning experience with ATC, or in addition to a group course for some extra assistance to reach their learning targets.
One-to-one or two-to-one
General English 15 Hour
Students joining ATC’s Afternoon General English course will learn English in an international class with students from around the world. The course is designed to focus on communication and improve the students’ understanding of the four key skills of English language focusing on communication; listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as developing grammar and vocabulary skills.
All levels of English from Elementary to Advanced are offered throughout the year. Students can choose to study for a minimum of 1 week. ATC’s General English course syllabus is 15 hours per week, with full 60 minute lessons. By the end of the course students will see an overall improvement in their level of English and improved confidence in their language ability.
General English 20 Hour
Students joining ATC’s General English course will learn English in an international class with students from around the world. The course is designed to focus on communication and improve the students’ understanding of the four key skills of English language focusing on communication; listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as developing grammar and vocabulary skills.
All levels of English from Elementary to Advanced are offered throughout the year. Students can choose to study for a minimum of 1 week.
ATC’s General English course syllabus is 20 hours per week, with full 60 minute lessons. By the end of the course students will see an overall improvement in their level of English and improved confidence in their language ability.
Intensive English 26 Hour
Students joining ATC’s Intensive English course will learn English in the mornings in an international class with students from around the world, and will also have extra classes in the afternoons. The emphasis of these afternoon classes is on developing students’ spoken fluency and accuracy while also working on their listening, reading and writing skills through a range of group work tasks and activities.
Tasks might include group discussion and debate, giving advice, expressing opinion, problem-solving, analysis and critical thinking, all designed to develop student’s communicative skills.
