Applicants should accept their place offer and pay deposit by the end of June.

Summer-time registration and deadline is September 2nd
(Childcare Level 5 applications close August 31st to allow for Garda Vetting)

To be eligible for Summer –time offers applicants must:
Apply between May and October 9th
Be available for interview between September 3rd and October 15th

All Summer-time applicants will receive interview results within 3 days of completing their interview.

Applicants should accept their place offer and pay deposit by third week in October
Summer-time registration and deposit payment deadline is third week in October

*Please note: There are no interviews during the Summer State Examinations

Course Description
This full time Further Education course provides the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge, to enhance access to training, to acquire a recognised qualification and to progress to higher level programmes. The broad range of modules provides learners with a variety of experiences, with a focus on hands-on practical skills supported by theoretical knowledge of modern trends in various engineering disciplines and of the latest technologies. People seeking to improve their opportunities for worthwhile employment, apprenticeships and self-employment can gain from participating in this course. The course facilitates students who may require a ‘transition year’ before entering Third Level college, to develop the practical, personal and social skills necessary to meet future challenges and opportunities, to contemplate future career plans and gain competence, confidence and maturity.
