Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages - TESOL
We offer an internationally recognised TEFL teacher training course, approved and accredited by QQI ( Irish Department of Education). we are Ireland’s first accredited provider to offer this Level 7 award in TEFL teaching.
This course is open to degree and non-degree holding applicants and a member of staff will answer any questions regarding recognition of the course and your needs.
The course is designed primarily for native English speakers, but it is also open to non-native speakers who hold a C1 English Language Qualification or equivalent.
Candidates can add these qualifications to their certification with completion of the Cambridge TKT YL examinations.

Full time courses timetabled as a 4-week course, consisting of 140+ hours (min. 100 contact hours – Candidates should also plan for min. 140 hours self study throughout the course).
Part time courses timetabled as a 9- or 11-week course, consisting of 140+ hours (min. 100 contact hours – Candidates should also plan for min. 140 hours self study throughout the course).
TKT ( Teaching Knowledge Test) YL (Younger Learners): 3 Evenings per week – Tuesday and /or Wednesday and /or Thursday 5.45pm-9.45pm.
