This course will run 2 evenings a week for 10 weeks - Tuesday and Thursday from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.

The successful completion of the TIG Welding award will enable applicants to source employment in the area of TIG welding in the horizontal, vertical and overhead positions and complete 'lapp fillet' and 'tee fillet' joints.

The aim of the course is to provide the participants with the skills knowledge and competence which will enable them to use T.I.G. Welding equipment safely and correctly.
This course is designed to suit intermediate welders and to equip you with the skills and knowledge to perform hands on TIG Welding techniques. You need good hand/eye co-ordination and good manual dexterity. Contact lens can not be worn in the welding area. You must bring your own safety shoes and overalls.
On successful completion of the TIG welding applicants will be able to source employment in the area of TIG welding in the horizontal, vertical and overhead positions and complete 'lapp fillet' and 'tee fillet' joints.
Testing will be carried out on Stainless Steel and Aluminum to whatever standard you can achieve and certified to EN 9606 standard.
