minimum entry requirements are a QQI Level 4 Major Award in Culinary Skills, or relevant industry experience.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Patisserie and Confectionery. You will be able to add to your skills within a commercial kitchen environment.

This qualification has been designed by City & Guilds in order to: meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work as chefs in the catering and hospitality sector • allow candidates to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the hospitality and catering sector.

Modules include supervisory skills, principles in food safety, practical gastronomy, dough and batter products, hot, cold, and frozen desserts, display pieces, and decorative items.
