Entry Requirements

Applicants for this course will be expected to have all round knowledge of IT systems Level 6 (Higher Certificate or equivalent) or equivalent in a cognate discipline.

Participants with previous knowledge of IT systems administration and networking will have an advantage in taking the programme. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English in accordance with University admissions regulations.

This course is for those who want an in-depth understanding of how to architect systems for the public cloud, specifically the AWS cloud. IT professionals taking on this course will need experience and knowledge of existing computing concepts across the range of Scripting, OS, Web Development, Database, Networking and Security.

You should have a level 6 and level 7 IT qualification and knowledge and/or experience of IT systems. Completing this course will allow you to access roles requiring up to date technical knowledge and hands on experience of cloud and virtualisation infrastructure as well as IT automation and Security.
