Course Description:
Beginners, newly qualified hairdressers or limited experience in barbering. You will learn the foundations of cutting men's hair, sectioning, scissor over comb techniques and basic clipper work. This course is designed to allow you to understand what is required to become a barber and give access to the JFM Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses. It will help you decide if barbering is a career you are interested to pursue. This course will lead onto a QQI level 5 qualification. Throughout the course you’ll be supported by a tutor who will guide you, building your confidence as your skills develop. Not only can our tutors teach you practical skills, they can offer you countless tips and advice on how to get ahead. Price includes all new materials for student to take away.
