Improve your game through learning and developing the mental skills used by top athletes and coaches in an interactive way to improve performance within all sport settings. Suitable for all interested in sport or coaching.

– Week 1 Introduction: What is Sports Psychology? Developing self-awareness.
– Week 2 Dealing with Pressure: Concentration. Relaxation. Self-talk.
– Week 3 Mental Perparation: Visualisation. Pre-performance routines.
– Week 4 Player & Coach Welfare: Sleep & Lifestyle Management. Self-care. Dealing with injuries.
– Week 5 Motivation & Culture: Team Resilience. Goal-setting.

Tim is a trainee sport psychologist. He works with teams and individual athletes on the mental side of their game, with the aim of improving the wellbeing and performance levels of the athletes he works with. Tim has an MSc in Sport, Exercise & Performance Psychology and a BA in Applied Psychology. He is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland and the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
