Course Description:
Furniture restoration is a 10 week course where students get to bring along an item they would like to restore, rejuvenate, repurpose, modernise or bring back to its former glory.
Course Content:
Tutor Brian Darcy will guide you in this and help you along your journey. Brian has been doing this for many years and runs his own business, The Athy Chair Doctor. Along with that Brian has also given courses in furniture restoration. So if it’s a chair that need reupholstering, a locker that need revamping or a desk that needs rejuvenation, this is the class for you. Please note you will have to carry your personal project in each evening.
