DIY Home Maintenance with Derek Roban.
Course Content:
This course was designed to run for eight weeks to give the student a good foundation in a variety of areas. Such as ceramic tiling, plumbing, heating systems, painting, general carpentry, ironmongery, wall papering, laminate flooring, plaster coving, electrical. The aim of this course is to give the student the knowledge and skill to carry out work them self's or to oversee works been carried on their behalf with confidence. The classes are given in a practical manner models are used and the materials are reviewed explaining their proper application. Notes are supplied by E mail to each student after the class has been given.
The Mr. Derek Roban has been working in the construction industry all his life working from the bottom up. He now holds the post of District Inspector responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a number of Government building on the South Side of Dublin. He has been teaching this course for now close to 20 years.
