It focuses on advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body that may influence the massage methods used to prevent and manage injury. Students will also learn to identify healthy muscles and how to treat uninjured tissue.
Also included are the benefits of using massage before and after events and preparation to work with sports teams in helping recovery of the muscles or as a physio assistant with Athletes
Application of skills to work on the general public for relaxation, removal of stress and tension and general muscle health..
acquisition of an advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body with particular attention on Musculoskeletal system.
Application of a range of Injury assessment techniques for acute and chronic conditions. Hamstring strain, Frozen shoulder,shinsplints and Repetitive strain injury are some injuries you will learn about.
Evaluation and assessment of soft tissue through a range of techniques to assess the treatment that best suits your client/athlete. This is a great course if you would like to be treating clients on pitches, working in your own clinic or working as a physio assistant. This can also be used to treat the general public whilst giving you a more in depth knowledge of injuries.

Pre and Post event massage techniques and underpinning of functionality.
This course includes theoretical ,practical and pathological aspects of sports therapy.
It teaches an advanced knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body with particular attention on Musculoskeletal system.
Also included are the benefits of using massage including causes and prevention of sports injuries.
Advanced postural analysis and body alignment assessment including how to Identify body types and effects of postural deviances.
Soft tissue dysfunction
Application of advanced Sports injuries massage techniques whilst also being able to assess injuries through a range of techniques.
How to apply Sports massage techniques to prevent and manage injuries.
Investigate a range of treatment modalities to help soft tissue repair.
Underpinning knowledge of what makes clients susceptible to injury.
Treatment for acute, subacute and chronic stages of injury.
Cryotherapy as a form of treatment.
