Endoscope Decontamination - Tallaght
This course was designed after extensive consultation for hospital staff working in Endoscopy units and also staff working in relevant medical supply companies. This program will provide the scientific background behind and practical skills required for the successful decontamination of Endoscopes.

The course consists of online lectures and practical workshops (practical work 2-3 days towards the end of semester) which are carried out in TU Dublin. Decontamination Minor award runs in the Spring semester.

Certificate in Microbiology (TU5262) is a pre requisite for this course

Participants on this program are typically employed in the hospital or related sector. On successful completion of this Minor Award candidates may progress to complete the major award program BSc in Decontamination Managment
