Pilates for Beginners III with Michele Allegri.

Course Content:
Learn to move your limbs out from your core with ease and flexibility. In my class you will breathe better, feel taller, more comfortable, at ease, mindful and bodily aware on and off your Pilates mat. (Loose clothing & a yoga mat needed). 10 Week Course general structure (can change depending on class size, composition and restrictions). Suggested: grippy socks, compression sportswear and props (block and small ball). Michele Allegri got to practising Pilates to help with his lower back pain. Seeing the improvements, he decided to do a teacher training course to deepen my knowledge and being able to adjust my workouts as I got older. I became very passionate about the Pilates methodology and other techniques aimed at managing physical pain and improving daily life. I obtained my Advanced Diploma in Pilates Matwork in the NTC (Dublin) in 2018 and immediately started teaching in local studios, community college, corporate events as well as private clients. In 2021, to continue my learning progression, I completed a 200 hrs Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training Course in Spain. I regularly attend seminars and workshops to stay up to date with the latest findings. I’m also a qualified Massage Therapist in Holistic (Swedish) Massage and Indian Head Massage, a First Aid Responder and (Train the) Trainer.

Week 1 Presentation of Teacher and Course structure, Client Questionnaire and tips. General introductory class and explanation of the principles of Pilates
Week 2 Class focused on a muscle group (ie legs)
Week 3 Class focused on a muscle group (ie upper body)
Week 4 Class focused on a muscle group (ie core)
Week 5 Intensity
Week 6 Mobility and coordination
Week 7 Hybrid Pilates/Yoga
Week 8 Dynamic to Static exercises
Week 9 Recap of previous classes
Week 10 Recap, suggestion on progression Material required: yoga mat and sport clothing.
