This course is intended to introduce graduates in mathematics to current ideas and methods at the forefront of modern mathematical research. The topics vary from year to year, but include modules in analysis, algebra, and geometry.

Entry Requirements
Normally a 1st class honours BSc/BA in Pure Mathematics, or equivalent.
Applicants must have a recognised primary degree which is considered equivalent to Irish university primary degree level.

Careers / Further progression
The material in this programme prepares students to do PhD-level research in mathematics and is also excellent preparation for jobs in a variety of areas, including second-level teaching, the IT sector, and finance.
