Entry Requirements

For admission to this course the following qualifications are accepted:
- Foundation Degree with a pass mark of 55% or above in Level 5 modules (or other relevant Level 5 qualification such as a Pearson’s Higher National Certificate/Diploma) in a computing related discipline.

- Candidates presenting with an ordinary degree (bachelor's without honours) in this subject area, and who wish to top up to a full honours degree (bachelor's with honours), may be considered under RPL procedures

- Students must also hold GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4 (grade C) or above (or equivalent - Level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications are also accepted

- Have reached the age of 18 years on admission.

Progression Opportunities
The articulation route for successful graduates from the BSc (Hons) Computing (Top Up) allows for progression onto University Master Degree courses in computing related disciplines subject to individual course requirements. Employment opportunities may also exist on successful completion.

Overview
This course aims to produce high quality graduates who have obtained the relevant competencies to undertake roles within one of the many computing disciplines. The programme has been developed to produce professional and competent staff for the computing industry.

Digital Business Technology
Dissertation

In order to achieve the full Honours degree the Dissertation module must be completed as an optional module, if not a BSc Ordinary degree is achievable.

Various assessment methods may be involved throughout the course consisting of; coursework assignments, coursework practical’s, in-class tests and formal examinations
