There are no points requirements for entry to any PLC course.

Applicants apply online directly to the college using our application form. Places on programmes are limited, early application and registration is advisable.

The College welcomes applications from international students provided that such students satisfy all the requirements of the immigration authorities and are deemed eligible by the Department of Education and Skills to participate in our courses. We have many international students attending programmes in the college at the present time and their presence contributes greatly to the life of the college in terms of richness and diversity.

Mature students are invited to apply 23 years and over.

1. PLC Maintenance Grant
Means-tested maintenance grants are available to eligible students attending approved full-time courses of further education in approved Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) centres, of which Plunket College of Further Education is one. Applications can be made online to Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) through www.susi.ie.

2. Back to Education Allowance (BTEA) See www.welfare.ie or www.studentfinance.ie for further details.

3. Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme (VTOS)

Offers are made on a first-come, first-served basis so confirmation is vital if you wish to hold your place. Failure to register by the set date will mean that your place will be offered to the next person on the list.

The aim of this course is to prepare students for entrance into Arts or European Studies programmes in third level institutions. It will also give students essential skills in two European languages: French and Spanish.
