– Have you always wanted to write your life story?
– Would you like to write about specific aspects of your childhood?
– Would you enjoy writing about significant incidents in your life?

This workshop will give you space to write and you will share your writing with the course tutor and participants. You will receive feedback on your work and provide feedback to the other course members in a safe environment.

Valerie taught in the English Department at University College Cork for 38 years. Her subjects included: Literature and Suicide, American Literature, Shakespeare Studies, Irish Playwrights, and English Writing Skills. She also taught courses across Munster for The Adult and Continuing Education Department. In addition, for many years she acted as a Mature Student Adviser in the college.
