Entry Requirements
Minimum
• Applicants must be 16+ years of age on entry to the course.
• Junior Certificate standard or its equivalent.
• Mature applicant route available for applicants aged 23+.
• Competent written and spoken English (CEFR B1 or Higher).
• Non-EU/EEA applicants must have permission to work in Ireland.
Additional
• Full Category B driving licence is essential.
• Applicants must be able to work in a highly regulated, safety conscious environment.
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work in a team environment is desirable.
• Have aptitude for working at heights is desirable.
• Previous experience in construction, agriculture or general operative is an advantage, but not essential.

Qualified operatives work all over the world on a variety of small scale to major projects but mostly for private contractors in Ireland and the UK who carry out work on behalf of ESB Networks and Eirgrid.
