It will also provide you with extensive knowledge in running your own freelance business.

Entry Requirements
Certificate in Exercise & Health Fitness (CEHF) NFQ Level 6
OR
NCEF/PEAI Level 1 National Certificate in Fitness & Exercise Instruction - Current and Recertified
You must also hold a PHECC First Aid Response qualification.
If you hold another health/fitness qualification and relevant work experience in the fitness industry , we ask you to complete an RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) application form which is a common route of entry onto NCEF courses. Please click here to apply through RPL
A cost of €125 applies to ALL RPL applicants on application, however if you are successful and offered a place on your chosen course, this fee is then deducted from the cost of overall programme fees.

Autumn 2023: Commences Monday 11th September 2023. Finishes Mid-December 2023
Spring 2024: Commences Monday 22nd January 2024. Finishes late-April 2024
Summer 2024: Commences Monday 13th May 2024. Finishes Mid-August 2024
The fee for the Facility Operations specialist module is €1,195
Payment Option 1
Full fee payment of €1,195 (inclusive of non-refundable deposit of €995) on submission of acceptance documents to the NCEF Head Office.
Payment Option 2
€995 non-refundable deposit due on submission of acceptance documents to the NCEF Head Office. Balance of €200 due to the NCEF Head Office 1 month prior to module commencement.
Please note that once students are registered, all fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you are completing this module as part of an overall programme e.g. Higher Certificate in Exercise & Health Fitness, the cost of this module is included in the full HCEHF Year 2 programme fees..
All content, including classes, progress assessments, videos, resource materials etc. will be delivered and accessed through the University of Limerick virtual learning environment, BrightSpace. This module is studied entirely online. BrightSpace integrates a large number of tools to facilitate and manage teaching, assessment, feedback, collaboration and communication with and between students.
This will enable you to further your studies at home, abroad and anywhere you have access to an internet connection. Online classes are pre-recorded with voiceover, so you may study whenever it suits you - you do not have to follow a timetable for live classes.
