Careers / Further progression
PROGRESSION
On completion, the Certi?cate in Training and Development programme will allow participants to work as a trainer/tutor in both the public and private sectors. Many organisations use this course to help with succession planning and efficiency strategies to formulate SOPs and operations. In the public sector, combined with a specific area of expertise, this qualification is needed to work in an ETB and Skillnet.
The QQI Special Purpose Award in Training and Development is mapped into the NQF at level 6. The Special Purpose can be married to your highest qualification. You may use these 2 modules as minor awards towards gaining a full major award in many different Level 6 major award programmes. This Certificate will enable you to progress to other programmes at level 6 or higher including colleges and higher education providers. The Overall Aim Of This Course Is To Enable Learners To Develop The Essential Skills And Competencies And To Become A Qualified Trainer, As A Specialist In Their Area Of Expertise.
