Jie Leng Chalmers
Jie will teach you cook some easy-make, healthy and low cost authentic Chinese savoury meals. During each class, she’ll also talk about Chinese culture with interesting slides shows and video stories. You’ll learn 3 meals at each lesson and at least one of the meals from the three will be suitable for vegetarians. You’ll be watching Jie cooking from scratch during the class and you’ll share to taste each meal with other class members. All ingredients are locally sourced, all written recipes will be given to each class member to keep and practice at home.

Jie originally came from Beijing China in 2005, met her husband in Cork and decided to stay here. She is now living in Ballinlough Cork, and has two teens. She works for a Cork local bookshop. She loves cooking, travelling and photography. She shares a lot of her own cooking pictures with friends via social media and they admire her cooking skills and encourage her to teach and share the secret recipes!
