This 5 week course is open to anyone with some experience of mindful meditation together with some awareness of where they might be struggling in their lives. We will learn practices that help us open to difficult experiences and teach us how to offer ourselves compassion which nourishes and sustains us in the moments we need it most.

Please Note:
- Participants will be emailed a Mindfulness Orientation Questionnaire to fill out before the class starts. Participants are asked to email the completed questionnaire to the tutor before starting the class.

- Please bring along their your own mat and blanket if you wish to lie down and a cushion to sit on for meditation.

Tutor: Mairead O’Keefe.

About the Tutor:
Mindfulness was recommended to me by my counsellor as I have a busy mind and I am a worrier. I have found the practise very beneficial in bringing peace of mind and acceptance. I have been practising mindful meditation for 11 years, since completing an MBSR course in 2010. I qualified as a teacher with the IMA in 2017. I have taught MBSR courses in Community Well, Donabate , as well as Days of Mindfulness and had a weekly drop-in meditation session there. I also facilitate mindfulness sessions as part of a Mental Healthcare outpatient programme.
