Course Delivery
This course will run online over 3 nights per week for 4 semesters with classes taking place in the evenings between 6 pm and 10 pm.

Course taught using an online learning approach, this course provides a balanced learning experience that is both a structured and flexible learner experience for students which makes it ideal for students in active employment.

Entry Requirements

A minimum Second-Class Honours (2.2) in Level 8 Computing from a recognised third level institution, or equivalent qualification in a cognate discipline,
or

A minimum Second-Class Honours (2.2) Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (or similar) Level 8 award.

The aim of this programme is to provide students with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design and develop digital assets for computer animation production and to evaluate and manage these assets in a production pipeline. The course is developed with the support of a range of companies and organisations working in the field of animation production.

The ever-expanding animation industry requires graduates with the necessary technical knowledge and transferable skills to work within the Digital Animation Production sector in Ireland and beyond.

Who Should Apply?
This online, part-time course would be ideal for anyone currently in full-time employment wishing to enter the field of Computer Animation.

As this course is a conversion course, candidates with a level 8 qualification in unrelated disciplines can apply for this programme.
