Course Description:
The beginners course is perfect for parents who'd like to feel more confident in helping their child with Irish homework or for those who simply want to learn the cupla focal and rediscover our beautiful native tongue.

Course Content:
The Irish class will have a specific focus on the sean fhocail “Beatha teanga í a labhairt” which means “the life of a language is in the spoken word.” All participants will be encouraged to speak and chat as Gaeilge.

My name is Síle Ní Ghallchoir. I am working in a post primary school on the Northside of Dublin. I am from the Gaeltacht region of Donegal. The main objective is to instil confidence in you to speak Gaeilge with ease.
