€245. Examination fee of €20 is payable for non medical card holders for certification of the course. If you have a valid medical card you will be exempt from the examination fee but a copy of this must be emailed on application to nightclasses@mayocollege.ie
This workshop and welding skills course covers the basic skills required to be productive in the workshop whilst also highlighting hazards and risks and how these can be managed. Participants will learn to identify the risks and controls associated with workshops, apply correct usage of tools and materials to ultimately fabricate an item using hand tools, power tools and equipment safely.
