Classes are delivered using a hybrid approach involving a combination of pre-course reading, pre-recorded classes, live and onsite classes.

Entry Requirements

All applicants will be considered on a caseby- case basis. Extended Campus reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the course.

Extended Campus (EC) at SETU Carlow works with organisations in the design, development and validation of customised programmes relevant to industry and employer needs. Programmes are often designed to bridge a gap that currently exists and or to support the future needs of an organisation and are offered through flexibly delivered timetables that fits into work life and avoiding long commutes to and from the classroom.

The aim of this programme is to develop the learner in the planning, running and evaluation of an event and in the provision of safety for all stakeholders (including spectators, players, officials, personnel, media and local residents etc.) that are involved in ground and event day operations.
