On the Move: The Journeys of Artists and Artworks will travel from the 17th to the 20th century, using the National Gallery of Ireland’s collections to trace the journeys of artists, the artworks they created, and the collectors who bought them. This rich story will include considerations of colonialism, gender and education, as well as the interconnected relationships of fine art, literature, and display.
