The course is aimed at candidates working in the Commercial and Industrial refrigeration and Air Conditioning sector. The qualification is aimed at any individual seeking to work with F-gas in stationary refrigeration and Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilation (HVAC) equipment, together with the refrigeration units of refrigerated trucks and trailers.

The course requires 100 learning hours split between Theory Classes, Practical Classes and self-directed learning.
