- QQI Level 4 Certificate or equivalent qualification and /or relevant life and work experience
- Competent in spoken and written English

Use of equipment within the care setting
Application of client care skills
Learners who wish to achieve this QQI Level 5 Module or Component Certificate must complete 3 skills demonstrations (60%) and 2 assignments (20% each).

All training is delivered in a people-centered, friendly, and enjoyable learning environment to ensure each learner is given every opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and competence to excel in a caring role. Training is delivered by expert dedicated tutors with a background and in-depth knowledge and experience of the healthcare sector including competency with blended learning model of delivery.
Protection of Enrolled Learners (Part 6 of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012):
As a provider of programmes more than 3 months in duration, we are subject to Part 6 of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012. This means that, if for any reason, we are unable to continue to provide the programme you are enrolled on, we have arrangements in place with alternative providers for enrolled learners to transfer to a similar programme provided by the alternative provider. If we need to do this, we need to share the learner information we hold on you with QQI and the alternative provider. This does not infringe the Data Protection Act 1988 and 2003.
