This is a full-time one-year course and runs from September to May

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied, or equivalent.

Mature Applicants Welcome
NFQ Level 4 or equivalent when accessing a Level 5 programme. CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 5 courses for those whose first language is not English
Mature learner entry requirements available via the local ETB pathway

Closing date for first round of applications is Friday May 3rd 2024 at 2:00pm.

Pre Guidance Meetings where applicable will take place from May 20th 2024

Offers of places will issue following completion of first round pre-guidance meetings

Second Round applications open June 4th 2024.

Pre-entry guidance meetings will take place from August 30th subject to availability of places.

Application system closes on September 30th for 2024 full-time entry.

€175 Registration Fee applies to all students

How the Course is Taught
This award is achieved by working on practical projects using Industry Standard Software. Learners are expected to have reasonable computer skills and will be guided through the process of preparing to work with the required hardware and software. Throughout the year students are assigned projects and must also prove their competence in several skills demonstrations and work experience placements. At the end of the year there are theory exams in certain subjects.
