This course teaches a basic ‘survival’ repertoire of spoken Japanese and introduces some central aspects of Japanese culture, including the writing system.

Duration

The course lasts for 24 weeks, divided into two terms, Thursdays between 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in the School of Linguistic, Speech, and Communications Sciences evening courses.

Classes commence from mid-September.

Classes are taught in-person on campus at the Centre for Language and Communication Studies, Arts Building, Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, Dublin 2.

€395 full rate.

There is also a concession rate available to all those retired, over 65s, and those on a government pension / payment plan and the unwaged, including second- and third-level students. Please contact clcsinfo@tcd.ie for more information.

This fee is strictly non-refundable once the course has commenced.
