Entry Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements?
The minimum entry requirement for this course is a Higher Certificate (NFQ level 6) with pass grade in a cognate area (or equivalent qualification).
Note: A QQI FET Level 6 Advanced Certificate will not meet the entry requirement for this course.
Careers / Further progression
The Bachelor of Business course facilitates employment opportunities at an operational level in corporate organisations.
On successful completion of the Bachelor of Business (NFQ level 7), students are eligible to progress on to TU926 Bachelor of Business (Honours) (NFQ Level 8).
Graduates of higher certificate and ordinary degree courses can avail of exemptions from the major accountancy bodies.

The ordinary degree programme includes organisational psychology, operations management, finance, marketing and enterprise development. Graduates of this course will have further developed the ability to integrate concepts into working and professional environments and will develop diagnostic and creative skills allowing them to operate at advanced levels in organisations. Emphasis will be placed on the exercise of judgement in planning, design, technical and/or supervisory functions at the operations level of the organisation.
IT Requirements: Students on this course will be required to have a medium spec computer/laptop (i.e. able to run Win 10, an AV solution and Office comfortably. It should be able to use Wi-fi and camera in order to attend online classes, and use other software such as SPSS, Adobe Connect; e.g. Latitude 5510; Latitude 5410;
