Both our Art & Drawing courses provide a supportive and productive environment for students of all levels and abilities. The online courses will have a reduced number of students in each class to give the teacher the opportunity to engage with each student when necessary.

Beginners course - Full
Beginners are introduced to basic art and drawing techniques while those wishing to improve or learn new skills are encouraged to work at their own pace and explore a wide range of media, including pencil, charcoal, pastel, acrylics and oil paint.

Advanced
For the more technically advanced, Monday nights class provides students the opportunity to explore their personal interests as well as honing their skills.

?Students at all levels are expected to provide their own materials. Details will be provided by your tutor prior to the course commencing and as you proceed through your course.

Beginners: Tanya O'Keefe

Advanced: Eimear Tynan
Eimear has a degree in Fine Art and hDip in Art Education. She has taught drawing and painting to adults for over 10 years. She has participated in many group and solo exhibitions as a Visual Artist since 2011, including Rua Red, Easter Snow Gallery, Talbot Studios, The Mart Gallery, Nottingham Contemporary, The Market Studios and The Linenhall Arts Centre.

Classes will be subject to public health guidance at the time.
Please do not attend class if you have any COVID-19 symptoms.

General Information:

Fees are payable in full on enrolment, by card, either online or over the phone. Please contact the Adult Education Office on 01 495 3882 for alternative payment methods.

Refunds: Fees are non-refundable unless there is not enough interest in a class and it has to be cancelled.

Student Property: St. Colmcille's Community School does not accept responsibility for property mislaid or damaged on the premises.

Age Limit: the minimum age for courses is 16 years.

Parking: Limited parking is available, so arriving early is advisable. Cars parked in undesignated areas may be clamped.
