Group Guitar for Beginners
Course Content:
Group Guitar for Beginners is an 8 week course for attendees wishing to learn how to play some basic major and minor chords and simple strumming patterns. No music or playing experience is necessary but a guitar is required. It will be a student led class, based on songs they would like to perform from any era or any genre of music. It is a feel good class hoped for students to walk away with 2/3 songs to play and sing along with.
Emma Gredley is the guitar teacher with 15 years playing experience, completing all 8 Acoustic Guitar grades with the London College of Music. She has also completed all 8 grades on the Clarinet with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. She completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Maynooth University studying Music and Geography from 2015-2018. She then went on to complete her Masters of Education in University College Dublin from 2018-2020 now a fully qualified Music and Geography teacher. She hopes you will experience the love for music that she does too. An ideal class for those who are Beginners or who have a good command of basic chords. Perfect for students looking to add more classic, popular songs to their repertoire. Numbers will be limited to four students in this unique class.
