Tuesday 18.45 - 21.45 24 weeks Child Development/Work Experience
Wednesday 18.45 - 21.45 24 weeks Childhood Social Legal and Health Issues/Child Psychology
Thursday 18.45 - 21.45 24 weeks Early Childhood Curriculum/Early
Childhood Literacy and Numeracy
• Participants require 120 Credits to receive a Certificate in Childcare
• Each Module is equivalent to 15 Credits
• Modules can be completed in any order over a period of time by attending the college, one, two, three or four evenings per week
** Learners have the option of completing either Supervision in Early Childhood Care or Special Needs Assisting
This certificate will be Deactivated at the end 2023
Entry Requirements
Participants must have completed and received the full QQI award in Childcare Level 5.
NOTE: Learners undertaking online courses must have basic IT skills and have access to the necessary ICT equipment, software and Broadband capability to enable them to undertake an online course.

20% discount on tuition fees for individuals in receipt of Full Job Seekers Allowance/ Benefit, Disability Allowance or One Parent Family Payment.
20% discount on tuition fees for all full-time LCFE learners 20% discount on tuition fees for all senior citizens.
Application forms cannot be processed nor places reserved without the full payment of tuition fees. Cheques, bank drafts or postal orders should be made payable to Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board (LCETB).
