Course Delivery
The majority of Practical classes such as Tax and Accounting will be in the classroom which may have to be adjusted at short notice depending on advice from the government.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements: Qualifications
Leaving Certificate- five passes on ordinary level papers at Grade D or better, or four passes of which at least two are on higher level papers at grade D or better. Passes must be obtained in english and Mathematics. applications will be considered from mature learners (over 21) who do not meet the educational requirements. Learners who have successfully completed Business Management QQI Level 6 may apply for an exemption to the accounting Technician of Ireland.

Progression into 2nd year:
Learners must have passed Taxation I, Financial accounting 1 and at least one other subject before they can commence Year 2.

Students must have basic IT Skills.
Course requirements for Online Learning
• Access to the use of a laptop/PC/tablet/smart phone
• Google Chrome is the recommended browser
• Good internet connection.

Enrolment details
You may choose one of the following when enrolling for a course.
• Enrol ONLINE ccocnightcollege.ie to avoid queues.
• If you enrol online, there is no need to come to the college.
• By post or at the college during office hours 9.00am-4.30pm.
• Payment may be made at the main office in the college.
• By Telephone 021-4222100 to pay by VISA, Mastercard or Laser.

Tuition Fee: €700 per year or €200 per module.

Terms & Conditions
• All fees must be paid for before classes commence.
• Students cannot attend a class without an official receipt.
• Fees do not cover the cost of materials, students will be expected to bear the cost of materials where costs arise.
• Fees are strictly non-refundable.
• Receipts must be presented to the class teacher on the first night of tuition so that enrolment details may be entered on the class register.
• Where course fees are being funded by an employer / government or community agency the student should complete the application form and return completed and stamped with the company stamp (copy given to tutor on first night).
• Once you have enrolled, your course commencement date will be printed on your receipt.
• No further contact will be made from the college unless the class is deferred.
• Your classroom will be posted up in the Main Foyer of the college.

Students are required to have 80% attendance to be entered for Certification.

Please Note: Every effort is made to have these costs as accurate as possible, however, please be aware that some of these costings are supplied by external agencies & external exam bodies and there is a potential for those to change unexpectedly. If changes occur they will be communicated to learners as soon as possible.

Refund Policy
A full refund will be given to all applicants for courses, which do not proceed. Students who attend one night of a course are not entitled to a refund. We regret we cannot entertain any other requests for refunds.

• Proof of SW and OAP to be included with application
• Day Students 40% reduction in tuition cost

Please also check other fee waiver entitlements with Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection (DEASP), INTREO or your Local Employment Service (LES) office that you may be eligible for.

Exam Registration
It is the learner’s responsibility to register directly with the Institute. Exam fees which are not included in the course fees are payable to the institute. Learners are advised to contact ATI directly for examination costs on 01 649 8100.

Learners will receive a Certificate upon successful completion of Year 1.
Learners will receive a Diploma in Accounting Technician upon successful completion of Year 2 plus 2 years work experience.

The college reserves the right to cancel or restructure any course. Classes are offered to subject to sufficient demand.

Important Information
The approach to delivery may have to be adjusted at short notice moving to online depending on advice from the Government. Refunds will NOT BE given if classes have to move online from the classroom.
