The aim of one-year honours degree add-on course is to enable Level 7 graduates of Agriculture or Agricultural Science to apply their existing skills and knowledge and build on these to develop an understanding of food processing and quality assurance/ safety issues.

Entry Requirements

Entrants should have a BSc in Agriculture, Agricultural Science or a related area with an award mark of at least 50%.

International students must have a minimum level of English equivalent to IELTS 6.0.

Course Description
Graduates of this course will have skills in food analysis, packaging, processing, agrifood biotechnology, waste management, food chain integrity, lean manufacturing and agri-food product development, enabling them to contribute to the cost-effective development, production and marketing of products in the Agri-Food Industry.
