The Advanced HTML5 And CSS3 Specialist ELearning course teaches essential skills Of HTML5, cascading style sheets (CSS) and JavaScript.

Technologies, sometimes known as the "HTML5 Family" can be used together to create Web pages that easily adapt to display on smart phones, tablets, gaming devices and smart TVs, as well as traditional desktop computers.

This Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 Specialist eLearning programme will enable you to learn basic JavaScript coding and use HTML5 APIs (application programming interfaces) to extend the functionality of Web pages with modern features such as geolocation, drag-and-drop, canvas and offline Web applications. In addition students will create Web pages using the HTML5 structure tags, embed video and audio and develop cross-browser user-input forms. They will learn techniques for code validation and testing, inline form field validation and mobile design for browsers and apps, including Responsive Web Design (RWD). They will use CSS3 to position and format content and to create effects such as transformations, transitions and animation.

The computer-based multiple-choice exam (CIW Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 Specialist exam) may be sat once students have completed the course. What Do I Need To Do This Course?
This is an online course delivered over the internet so you will need to own or have access to a PC and the internet. The following technical requirements apply: 128 MB of RAM; Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, Minimum screen resolution 800x600, Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher; Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher; Flas 8.0 or higher; 56K minimum connection; broadband (256 kpbs or higher) connection recommended; JavaScript, DHTML and cookies enabled; Sound card with speakers or headphones strongly recommended.
