Entry Requirements

Education: NFQ Level 4 or equivalent when accessing a Level 5 programme. CERFL proficiency at B2 for access to Level 5 courses for those whose first language is not English
Mature learner entry requirements available via the local ETB pathway

On successful completion of this programme, students can apply to TUS (Technological University of the Shannon) for entry to the ICT Engineering Degree; common entry year 1 to : BSC in Network management, BEng in Computer Engineering, and BEng in Electronic Communications. Students can also apply to other 3rd Level Institutions under the Higher Education Links Scheme or as a mature Student.

Career Options:
Employment can be sought within a wide range of industries, in particular where computer systems design, network installation and technical support is required.
