Entry Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate they have either a:
• Technical Certificate in Health & Safety course completed with CMI
Or
• Completed a Health and Safety level 6 course
Or
• 2 years work related experience
Or
Hold a entry level qualification in :
• Science and Technology, Legal and regulatory systems, risk management, Occupational health and hygiene, Occupational psychology, information technology, and literacy and numeracy.
Please supply a CV with details of past qualifications and experience at time of application/booking plus English level competency* (if applicable).
*IELTS 5.5 Reading & Writing, Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) level B2 ,

The OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety online course is awarded by OTHM qualifications which is recognised on the RQF Regulated qualifications framework to Level 6 (England) which is comparable to Level 7 (Ireland). OTHM qualifications (England) is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). This is one of the few health and safety officer courses at level 7 which is similar to the first year of a health and safety degree in Ireland.
