The UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics is organising an event in the UCD O'Brien Centre for Science to celebrate National Maths Week on Friday 20 October 2023. The event is free of charge and can be booked by teachers only.
The event includes a 60 minute talk by Andrew Jeffrey about the Maths and Magic of the Rubik's Cube and an opportunity to visit an interactive demonstration of maths games and puzzles, provided by the Maths Museum of Catalonia.
This event is aimed at TY, 5th and 6th Year secondary school students.
Please can you select one of the sessions and indicate the approximate numbers of students who will be attending. We will send information about getting to UCD the week of 9 October, with the final arrangements.
If you are intending on booking a coach, please can you email AskScience@ucd.ie as soon as possible and we will arrange for the parking. All students must be accompanied by teachers.
